Dianna is the General Manager, responsible for implementing our strategy and overseeing our
operations. Dianna has over 17 years of not for profit leadership experience. Dianna has a passion
for creating an inclusive environment that actively supports customers and staff, one that is ‘A
Community to Belong To’ for everyone.
Michelle is the Operational Manager at Karakan and is responsible for ensuring we have effective and efficient systems and processes in place to assist our staff in delivering the best support to our customers. She has been part of the Karakan team for over 10 years where she has witnessed Karakan grow to an organisation that is well respected in providing individualised support to people in our community.
Customer Access Representative
Linda is the Customer Access Representative and is responsible for responding to intake inquires and support coordination. Linda has worked with Karakan for 14 years and is passionate about providing person centred support and assisting NDIS participants with their transition to having more choice and control in regards to their support and daily living.
Janelle is one of our Team Facilitator’s, and is responsible for supporting the customers and staff, so that each customer’s team is meeting their needs. Janelle has over 15 years’ experience working with people from diverse backgrounds, including family and domestic violence. Her passion and insights, allow her to look for solutions so that she is able to support people to live their best lives within their communities.
Jade is one of our Team Facilitator’s, she started with Karakan in 2017 as a Support Worker, her vibrancy and willingness to go above and beyond allowed her to progress to her current role, in which she supports customers and staff. Jade is passionate about sharing her knowledge with the support teams and facilitating learning opportunities. She has a background in Psychology and is also currently studying her Masters of Business (Philanthropy and NonProfit Studies).
Client Systems Specialist
Dani has a background in Psychology and has worked with Karakan for 6 years starting as a Support Worker and moving on to become a Team Leader. With the introduction of the NDIS Dani has taken on a new role working behind the scenes as a Customer Systems Specialist. Dani is responsible for implementing the online platform that will help Karakan to provide the best service to customers using the latest technology. Dani also ensures rosters are created and adjusted to meet the needs of our customers.
