Coronavirus (covid-19) Update

At Karakan the health and safety of our customers, staff and communities is always our priority – and never more so than at this time of concern during the covid-19 health alert.

We place immense value in the trust that our customers and communities give us to provide quality, reliable and safe support services.

In light of this, we are monitoring the situation closely and following the advice from the Australian Government Department of Health to ensure that our already attentive focus on health and safety is enhanced during this time.

We are working hard to ensure that we are in the best position to provide ongoing support services to people and minimise any risk.

Karakan continues to operate as normal at this time.

We have contingency plans in place should the situation change with a team monitoring the situation to be able to respond as quickly as possible.

Please continue to check our website for updates.

Good Hygiene

What it means: Everyone must practise good hygiene at home and at work to protect against infection and prevent the virus spreading.

How to do it: Wash your hands often with soap and water, including before and after eating and after going to the toilet.

Use alcohol-based hand sanitisers.

Clean and disinfect surfaces.

Cover your coughs and sneezes with your elbow or a tissue, disposing of tissues properly.
