Work @ Karakan

Why Karakan?

Karakan is leading the way in staff development and training in the mental health recovery sector. With a number of training initiatives currently happening, including the five recovery oriented core units of the Certificate IV in Mental Health, Karakan is the place to work for those dedicated and passionate about working with people to achieve positive mental health and enhance their wellbeing.

At Karakan all staff are supported and encouraged to enhance their skills and knowledge around working with people who experience adversity, mental illness, and/or disability.

We have a number of strategies in place to ensure that our employees feel supported and valued at work, such as monthly practice supervision and continual opportunities for feedback.

We also provide you with the opportunities and ability to work autonomously and as part of a rich and dynamic team.
